First, identify the left and right splint using the labels on the front, then place your foot on the terrycloth side. Next, align the gel pad with the bunion, ensuring it sits along the metal bar for optimal support. Wrap the big toe with the hook-and-loop fastener, adjusting it for comfort. Then wrap the splint around your foot, securing it with the hook-and-loop closure and readjusting the toe strap if needed. Finally, wrap the heel strap around the back of your foot and adjust it to a comfortable tightness.
