The Insect Ecran Infested Areas Insect Repellent is a skin-applied repellent designed to protect against mosquito bites for up to 8 hours. Formulated with 50% DEET, it is specially intended for use in high-risk environments where insects are abundant, such as lakesides, rivers, forests, and marshlands. It is also highly effective against the Aedes albopictus (Tiger mosquito), which can transmit diseases such as Dengue, Chikungunya, and Zika.
This product received the first Biocide Marketing Authorization (AMM) for mosquito repellents in France, issued by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in November 2014. Thanks to its favorable benefit-risk profile, it can be used from 2 years of age and during pregnancy, although use in pregnant women should be limited to areas with a risk of vector-borne disease transmission.
How to use
Shake well before use. Spray the product into the palm of your hand, then apply it evenly to the areas of skin that need protection. Reapply if necessary every 8 hours, without exceeding 2 applications per day. One bottle lasts approximately 20 days when used at a rate of two applications per day.
