Photoderm Pediatrics Mineral SPF50+ is specially developed using Bioderma’s expertise in skin biology to meet the unique needs of children's delicate skin. Featuring the innovative Sun Barrier Technology, this sunscreen helps support the skin’s natural defense mechanisms during sun exposure. Its formula combines mineral UV filters, Vitamin E, and apricot kernel oil rich in biomimetic lipids to provide triple protection: broad-spectrum defense against both UVA and UVB rays, antioxidant protection to help prevent long-term sun-induced damage, and support for the skin’s natural barrier function. The 100% mineral-based formula delivers very high sun protection while ensuring smooth application without leaving white marks on the skin. Designed to be safe and gentle for children, it is also environmentally conscious, showing no toxicity to coral, microalgae, or freshwater plankton, making it respectful of aquatic ecosystems.

Health professionals recommend keeping babies and young children out of direct sunlight whenever possible and encouraging them to wear protective clothing such as T-shirts, hats, and sunglasses. However, Bioderma recognizes that children may sometimes be unintentionally exposed to UV rays despite these precautions. For this reason, Photoderm Pediatrics Mineral SPF50+ is designed to provide effective sun protection while respecting the natural balance and development of children's delicate skin. Apply the sunscreen generously before unavoidable sun exposure, as using too little product can reduce the level of protection. Reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. After sun exposure, cleanse the skin with Atoderm Shower Oil and moisturize with Atoderm Intensive Baume. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, as excessive sun can be harmful to health. Use the product only on uncovered areas, keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight whenever possible, and avoid contact with fabrics.
